Mining Gear Upgrade - A Member Option
Date: July 30th
We are getting ready to turn-over a large batch of older mining equipment to acquire newer and more efficient machines. Right now the secondary market for these miners is very strong and because these models are near the peak of their life cycle the timing is perfect for us to sell them and upgrade.
This is actually a great swap because we can sell these miners at 100% or more of what we initially paid for them about a year ago, and by making this upgrade we will instantly cut our electricity bill by 25% when deploying the new miners in our Iceland facility.
Sale Details...
We are selling all of our S3 and S4 Antminers and purchasing S5 models. However, the reason we are telling you this is because before we sell these units we wanted to give all members a chance to take possession of these miners. After all it's you who paid for them! So this is a small window of opportunity for you to request delivery of these machines.
You will be compensated based on the total hashing power you have accumulated in your account. Whatever this adds up to we will send you a miner based on that power.
We will ship your miner (or multiple miners depending on your hashing power) to just about any location in the world. However, this is very important! By taking possession of your machines you are choosing to opt-out of the remainder of your mining contract and you will no longer receive mining pool payouts.
Once you have the miner you can use it however you want. So if you want to sell it on the open market (like we are doing), or use it to mine directly to a pool of your choice, or whatever you want to do is 100% your choice. We will help support you if your plan is to mine on your own.
When choosing this option your account will become ineligible for all future earnings, which includes any commissions paid from our referral program. Basically this is not an ideal option unless you are looking to opt-out of your BitClub Network membership or you wish to start mining with your purchased equipment.
For details please open a support ticket and request that we calculate your total hashing power and begin the process of sending you a miner.
NOTE: This is a very limited time offer... You will only have 1 week to request an opt-out and take possession. If you do nothing then we will assume you are okay with our decision to sell these machines and upgrade to the newer models.

Debit Card, ClubCoin & More!
Date: July 27th
BitClub Network continues to grow in regions all over the world. So far our website has been fully translated into 14 languages and we are currently working on translating the affiliate landing pages and all follow up emails so the entire user experience is seamless and easy to use.
We are also working on a new 12-15 minute animated video that explains the entire BitClub opportunity from A-Z, including ClubCoin, our mining pool, and it even covers the basics of Bitcoin. This video will be a great selling tool and it's also being translated into each language.
You will also see some nice upgrades being released to our lead management system, stats and reports. In fact, if you are an Internet Marketer then you are really going to like this next update because we are making BitClub even easier to share! More details coming soon...
Mining Pool...
Our pool re-launched last week and so far mining has been pretty smooth! We did get knocked offline once for a few hours but when this happened our machines switched to our back-up pools just like we expected them to do without any real downtime.
We are still adding more stats and we continue to monitor and tweak some things but overall we are happy with the first week!
If you go to the mining pool page (www.bitclubpool.com) and click on Pool Stats you can easily keep track of the activity and check to see all the blocks the pool is hitting. We will soon be adding a news section directly to our mining pool page for updates and although these will be geared more toward miners we encourage you to visit the page and follow along.
Debit Cards - Batch #1 is SOLD OUT
Our first batch of debit cards sold out and we are not taking any new orders until all of them have been fulfilled. We expect the next batch to be available mid to late August.
For those of you who purchased a card your order is being processed and you will get an update about it this week. If you have been waiting awhile it's likely that your application was rejected and is being re-submitted. We had a large majority of our first batch sent back to us for various reasons (the main reason being invalid phone numbers and bad formatting).
*Please make sure all information you submit is valid and can be verified, these applications are very picky
If your application was rejected we have most likely already re-submitted it and are now just waiting on the shipment confirmation. We did receive news that a large batch of about 75 cards will be shipped this week and we are working directly with the card issuer to get everyone approved or denied by the end of this week.
If you are denied and unable to get a Debit Card then your order will be fully refunded and you can try again on the next batch if you wish.
Sorry for the delay on this, we have received many applications from different countries in different languages and it's taking time to sort through everything and get it pushed through, but we are confident we have dialed in the process and will have details about your order this week!

We are in a full Beta for the coin and will be giving you some juicy updates later this week including some screen shots and live looks at the wallets. Once all of our testing is complete and we are confident in the launch we will make it live. At this point each member will have a wallet and will provide full instructions on how to access your ClubCoin.
We believe ClubCoin is going to be the backbone of BitClub and we are so excited to release it to the world!

Mining Pool Re-Launch, More Iceland Details...

Over the past few weeks our team has been working hard in Reykjavik Iceland setting up our new mining facility. Together we have made a very big step toward our plan of being here for the long term.
Iceland offers the perfect environment for mining, not only is the power 100% green and renewable which makes us feel very responsible knowing its clean energy, but it's also cheap and it offers a real long term profitable mining solution.
This facility is state-of-the-art and there's nothing else like it anywhere in the world. We are just getting started with our plans here and now that we have deployed our first set of miners and have the process in place we are going to quickly expand as we continue to grow this membership.
Being in this facility makes us about 20% more profitable and with the early feedback from the machines, we can run them longer and harder than anywhere else in the world. One of the key things we are excited about is the opportunity for BitClub members to visit our mine and see what we are building without compromising security.
This is truly an enterprise solution and we are among the elite miners in this industry now, it's a dream come true for geeks like us to be set up in this type of facility and have this much raw power at our disposal :)
Want to see it? All members who attain the rank of Pro Builder or higher will automatically be put on a list and you will have the opportunity to tour the facility. If you are interested just contact us via support, let us know the dates you are planning to visit and we will set it up for you.
We need a minimum of 48 hours notice to get you cleared and you must present photo ID to enter. If you do get a chance to go up there we think you will be blown away by how the entire operation works, especially the Hydroelectric and Geothermal power that is being harnessed for all this electricity.

New Mining Pool is LIVE
As mentioned in some previous updates our mining pool was completely re-built and we were waiting on the deployment of this new facility to re-launch it. This happened a few days ago and is now fully LIVE and ready for miners to join. In fact, we have already hit 3 blocks in the past 3 days and we are still bringing over more power.

You should have noticed a nice boost in the payout when this power went online.
We spent a lot of time setting up our new mining pool and although you wont see most of the effort on the front end you should know that we have some extremely high security measures in place on all fronts to ensure we don't get knocked offline or hacked.
Unfortunately, since Bitcoin mining is so profitable there are pools and groups of hackers who attack pools trying to knock them offline. We have experience in dealing with this over the past few years and have taken extreme measures to hide and set up multiple layers of decoys to prevent being attacked.
We can't tell you all the stuff we are doing because it would defeat the purpose but just know this pool is very well protected and we plan to stay ahead of the game so we can attract large miners who want to maximize their mining profits. With this set up we believe we can become one of the largest pools in the world and the larger we get the more blocks we will hit and payout.

We are happy to announce a full Beta of ClubCoin this week. You will not actually see this Beta because we have a small group of people trying to do everything they can to break and fully test it for launch.
We have been working on this code for many months and all simulations we have done have passed so this will be the first real version of the coin and assuming it passes all the stress tests we can launch as early as next week!
Ideally, you should expect a week or so of testing and we are trying hard to keep our promise of launching in July.
